1. Acceptance
By accessing or using ReturnPod, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Service Description
ReturnPod provides uptime monitoring, status pages, and alerting (email, webhook, Slack). We check your URLs, endpoints, and heartbeats at configured intervals and notify you when they fail or recover.
3. Account
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the service for lawful purposes only. You may not abuse or overload our systems, use the service to monitor systems you do not own or have permission to monitor, or transmit illegal, harmful, or offensive content.
5. Prohibited Uses
You may not: engage in credential stuffing or brute-force attacks; scrape or harvest data beyond normal use; circumvent rate limits or access controls; resell the service without our permission; or use the service to facilitate any illegal activity.
6. Your Content
You retain ownership of the monitor configurations and content you create. You grant us a license to use, store, and process this content as necessary to operate the service.
7. Intellectual Property
ReturnPod and its branding, software, and documentation are our intellectual property. You may not reverse engineer, copy, or create derivative works without our permission.
8. Payment and Refunds
Paid plans are billed via Stripe. You may cancel at any time. Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase or renewal; no refunds after 14 days except where required by law or at our sole discretion. Invalid chargebacks may result in account suspension. We reserve the right to dispute chargebacks with evidence of service delivery and terms acceptance.
9. Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE FEES YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE URLs AND ENDPOINTS YOU MONITOR.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or your violation of these terms.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms. You may cancel your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases.
12. Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. We encourage you to contact us first to resolve disputes informally. Any legal action shall be brought in the courts of Delaware.
13. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the updated terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
